Waterloo Creek Show

This year’s Creek Show invites the public to experience 9 nights of free dazzling, illuminated art along Waller Creek. The event begins at 9th street and ends at downtown Austin’s newly renovated Waterloo Park on 12th St.

Each year, Creek Show commissions site-specific work by Austin-based architects, landscape architects, artists, and designers through a public Call for Ideas hosted in collaboration with AIA Austin. Artists explore different themes related to Waterloo Greenway, from history to hydrology and beyond. Then the Waterloo Greenway Conservancy enlists a committee, including local artists, community leaders, and Creek Show enthusiasts, to evaluate art installation submissions and create an unforgettable exhibition.

Creek Show will open nightly November 10 – 18, 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.  Attendees will also enjoy nightly live music, food and beverages, and family-friendly activities at Waterloo Park. Fast Pass tickets available on the website. Walk ups are welcomed until capacity is reached.
